Charcoal and graphite drawing on textured paper, Iranian woman in her early thirties, heavy shading, visible smudges. The whole emotion is in the brows: inner ends pulled up and together, eyes soft, wet, slightly narrowed with tenderness — the maternal "elahi bemiram" look.
