English original
A red fox mid-stride crossing two snowy railway tracks at dusk, rendered as a hand-carved linocut print. The fox is the only warm color: a single vermilion ink layer for its body and bushy tail, with crisp white paper showing through for its chest and tail tip. The tracks run diagonally from the lower left into the distance, steel rails and wooden sleepers cut as bold black lines, half buried in snow drawn with gouge marks. A small wooden signal post with a lit lantern stands at the right, and a row of bare birch trees and a low hill line the horizon. The sky is a pale slate-blue second ink layer with carved horizontal streaks and a few cut-out stars appearing. Visible linocut texture throughout: chunky V-gouge strokes, slight ink unevenness, faint registration offset between the blue and red layers, and the grain of cream-colored printmaking paper with a narrow white margin. Three-color limited palette (black, slate blue, vermilion). Quiet, cold, still mood. No text, no signature, no people.
